This 10-day gravel bike tour offers cyclists an opportunity to explore Sweden's varied terrains and cultural landmarks. Starting in the coastal city of Halmstad, known for its sandy beaches and historic sites, the journey follows the scenic Fylleån river valley, passing through forests, lakes, and traditional villages.
Riders will experience the beech and oak-covered hills of Hallandsåsen and the rugged beauty of the Bjäre peninsula. Daily distances range from 30 to 60 kilometers, traversing backcountry routes where participants carry their own food and drinks during the day, while luggage is transferred between accommodations.
The tour includes nine nights of lodging, nine breakfasts, nine dinners, and rental of 2024 Ghost Gravel Bikes. Accommodations feature local establishments such as a wild fishery restaurant/hotel and a deer farm, providing authentic Swedish experiences. The route offers opportunities to spot local wildlife and enjoy regional cuisine.
Day 1 – Arrival in Halmstad
Arrive in the coastal city of Halmstad, famous for its beaches, cafes, and historic landmarks

Day 2 – Tylösand to Femsjö (60 km / 510 m elevation)
Ride the coastal Prins-Bertil trail and follow the Nissan river
Lunch at Tallhöjden country pub in Simlångsdalen
Continue along the former railway Bolmenbanan to Femsjö

Day 3 – Femsjö to Bolmen (52 km / 400 m elevation)
